Information the Exchange keeps

• Account identity supplied through the sign-in provider, including account ID, name, and email.
• Your date of birth, stored privately to apply the minimum account age of 16. It is not included in public profiles, directories, or assessment reports.
• Optional, self-reported gender and ethnic-group answers, plus county of residence and state, for RISE demographic reporting. You may skip any question or choose Prefer not to say. These answers are stored separately from public profiles, are not shared with employers or included in assessment reports, and are not used for candidate matching or account-access decisions. Update or clear these answers under Profile. Authorized Impact users can see aggregate demographic reporting, with small-group protections for organization reports.
• Profile details you choose to add, including photo, résumé, interests, skills, location, and privacy choices.
• Saved listings, applications, registrations, event activity, followed organizations, notifications, and community participation.
• Assessment answers and results, agreements, support requests, organization roles, and administrative audit records.
• Basic security and operational information needed to protect accounts, diagnose problems, and maintain the service.

How information is used

• Operate My Hub, recommendations, applications, event registration, community features, and organization workspaces.
• Provide support, enforce community standards, prevent abuse, and maintain reliable records.
• Show information to a RISE coach or employer only when the relevant permission or sharing action allows it.
• Improve accessibility, usefulness, and service quality using privacy-conscious operational measurement.

Career Accelerator and Basecamp

Career Accelerator members are asked for explicit permission before checkout. If they agree and purchase the plan, RISE securely shares only the member's name, email address, Hub account identifier, and subscription status with Career Climbers for the purpose of creating, maintaining, or ending the included Basecamp Core access. Stripe processes payment information; RISE does not send payment-card details to Career Climbers. This sharing does not include private assessments, résumés, community messages, or saved listings.

Visibility and sharing

Profile discovery and résumé sharing are off by default. Assessment results are private. Sharing an assessment with a RISE coach is a separate, explicit action. Organization content marked public is visible in the Exchange. RISE does not sell personal information.

Unfinished assessment drafts

New signed-in assessment drafts are saved privately to the account that started them. Other accounts cannot load or overwrite those drafts. Guest samples stay in the open page unless you explicitly choose to save a result. A security-only browser signal helps hide private answers when signing out or returning to a page until the account is checked again.

Older drafts saved on a browser without an owner are preserved for recovery, but are no longer opened automatically or assigned to the next person who signs in. Contact RISE for help recovering your own older draft. Signing out does not delete a confirmed private draft.

Retention and control

You can review privacy settings, download an account copy, and request deletion. A deletion request uses a 30-day review period. Records that RISE must retain for legal, safety, agreement, or audit purposes may be separated from the active account and kept for the required period.

Cookies and measurement

Necessary session and security storage keeps you signed in and protects the service. A host-only preference cookie, __Host-rise_privacy, remembers this site’s optional-analytics choice for up to 180 days without an account identifier. Optional page-view measurement stays off until you accept. The Hub does not use advertising profiles.

Private view measurement

RISE measures visits to published listings, events, organization profiles, discussions, and general Hub sections to understand use and improve services. Counts are private, not public popularity scores. Impact reporting can compare these counts with separately recorded applications, registrations, and attendance.

Measurement does not save your account identity, IP address, demographics, search text, form answers, or browsing history. A short-lived, first-party tab marker helps avoid counting refreshes repeatedly; stored keys are different for each page and rotate every 30 minutes. Private workspace activity is recorded only by broad section, not by document or person. Recognized automated traffic, RISE administrator visits, and an organization’s own team views of its content are excluded. Counts are estimates, not unique people or proof of outcomes.

You can withdraw acceptance at any time. This choice does not change sign-in, security, unfinished work, requested account connections, or participation records.

Operational sign-in records

RISE records completed Hub sign-ins, Impact sign-ins, and Career Center entries separately to operate and report on its services. Authorized reports may show recorded activity by account and organization. Hub sign-in records include an account identifier, completion time, sign-in method, and organization memberships at that time—not passwords, session credentials, assessment answers, or advertising profiles. Membership groups can overlap, so their counts are not additive. These records are separate from optional page-view measurement, and reports identify when reliable collection began rather than reconstructing missing history.
